Keenan has a new class of freshman

Keenan has a whole new class of incoming freshmen with stars in their eyes this year.

One of the new freshmen, Keyona Dunn, gives some intel on how she feels in her new environment.

She said it is a good experience, and she feels comfortable at this school.

“I think overall Keenan is a really good school compared to others,” Dunn said.

The Lady Raiders Basketball season came to an end in the third round of the 2014 South Carolina Girls Playoffs. The Lady Raiders fell short to Andrew Jackson High School on February 25 by a score of 44-50.

Upcoming senior football players must rise to occasion

The upcoming senior football players have had a rollercoaster ride of a high school football career. Their freshmen year, they had a 1-9 record, and this led to many questions, but their freshmen year did show promise by having seven of them start the homecoming game against Gilbert High school. Those players are Juniors Peter Easaw, D’Vaungh Kelley, Sanquan Harrell, Eric Griffin, James Wilson and Marcus Stroman.

Students are preparing for the upcoming track season.  The female runners are working just as hard as the males to achieve success.  They are getting mentally and physically fit, so they can compete to the best of their abilities.
