Think Like a Man recommended

By Maya’ Goodwin, News Writer

The movie Think like a Man was a great movie. It was based on Steve Harvey’s book Act Like a Lady Think Like a Man. The movie was about four couples; the ladies read the book Act Like a Lady Think Like a Man. When the men find out about the book, they try to turn the tables back on the women.

This movie will have you laughing form beginning to end. All of the theaters were crowded the Continue reading “Think Like a Man recommended”

The Lucky One placed in the Top 8 at the Box office, not being much competition to the Avengers.  The Lucky One is based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks, who also wrote The Notebook, The Last Song and Dear John, all which have been produced into movies.

If you enjoy watching the Iron Man series, The Hulk series, Capitan America and watching Thor, then you would enjoy watching all of these superheroes gather together to fight evil and save the world. Continue reading “The Avengers slashes to the number one spot in the box office”

I think the main character of the story, Katniss Everdeen, was very brave for volunteering as a tribute to save her sister.

The games take place in the Capitol where each tribute from each District will race to fight to Continue reading “The Hunger Games takes over the box office”

Humans battle to the death with aliens

By Tiara Jones, News Writer

The Darkest Hour was a movie about invisible beings coming to a foreign country killing off all life. While many didn’t survive, the souls who did battled to see why they where there and how to stop the aliens.  The humans would live another day. The purpose of the killings was foggy, but overall it was a good movie and very exciting to watch.

Specifically what I like was the scenery they chose for the movie, all the action that was taking Continue reading “Humans battle to the death with aliens”
