KEENAN FINE ARTS TO PERFORM AT SPRING CONCERT

Crown them King and Queen

Seniors Thessalonian Reid and Logan Taylor-McDaniel were crowned Homecoming King and Queen on Friday, October 6, 2017, at Bolden stadium.

Tom Sizemore accused of sexual assaulting little girl on set in 2003

On November 13, 2017, actor Tom Sizemore was accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old actress on set in 2003.

Sizemore, who was 42 at the time, apparently sexually assaulted the actress, who is now 26.

Poetry provides happiness

Keenan has created a Writing Club for students who are interested in expressing themselves. Every Wednesday from 3:20 to 4:20, the students meet to practice and have fun with their rhyming and feelings in poetry. On February 23, Keenan celebrated Black History Month with a Black History Month program. February is the month where black Americans are recognized for their achievements.

Keenan exhibits talent at District Honors Orchestra program

Showcasing their skills, Keenan’s orchestra members attended the District Honors Orchestra event at 6:00 P.M. on February 17 at Lower Richland High school. The day before, various students participated in the practice conducted from 9:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

The top orchestra students from both middle and high school attended the concert.
