Junior Dillon Jones is a 6-6, 220-pound Small Forward who played for the Keenan Boys Basketball team that is led by Coach Zachary Norris. They finished the season number one in their region with the record of 30-1; the Raiders ranked number three in the state of South Carolina and number 183 in the nation and they’re state champions.

Jones has someone who inspired him to play basketball.

“Eric Washington because I grew up watching him and I wanted to be just like him,” Jones said.

Jones plays with the Upward Stars organization over the summer on the Adidas gauntlet.

“Dillon is a conscientious student who is very concerned about his grades,” Jason Johnson, English teacher said. “He works hard to complete assignments on time and to the best of his ability. He is a pleasure to teach.”

Johnson is Jones English III Honors teacher.

Even Jones friends love to hang around him because he’s such a cool person.

“Having Dillon as a friend is good because he’ll reach out to you if you need help with anything or have a good talk about something,” Junior Micah Wright said.
