The Keenan Boys Basketball team is led by Coach Zachary Norris. The team finished number one in the region with the record of 30-1; the Raiders ranked number three in the state of South Carolina and number 183 in the nation. The main focus was playing together as a team and defense; they think it is the key to winning the championship.

Each player had a different feelings about playing in the championship game

“I feel great and thankful to have the opportunity again to complete the ninth grade mission,” Junior Dillon Jones said.

Jones is a 6-6, 220-pound Small Forward.

“The feeling felt pretty good for most part,” Senior Latrell Taylor said. “The experience was wonderful and exciting.”

Taylor is a 6-1, 150-pound Guard.

“It felt good; [I’m] glad we won,” Junior Raekwon Horton said.

Horton is a 6-6,175-pound Small Forward.

“Yea, the team has gotten a lot better; they grew together as a whole—that’s the only way they were going to win the championship…they set aside all their one-man goals and played as a team,” Assistant Coach Tyrell Manning said.
