GOAL! Keenan’s soccer team had a long season; they went 1-13 this season. Their one win was against Calhoun County High School; the score was 3-0.
“It was an honor to be named all-region this season; it would have been better to be all-state,” Senior Rokeith Paldo said.
Keenan had two all-region players this year, Junior Tyrik Allen and Paldo.
“The team was very young this year, so there is room to improve if everyone gets better and works on their craft over the off-season,” Head Coach Pablo Rivera said.
The Raider’s team was young this season; more than half of the team were freshman and first year soccer players.
“I had a lot of fun this season, even though the team played like Charmin ultra-soft,” Junior Isis Escobar Hernandez said.
Escobar and Freshman Mykenzie Wright were the only two girls on the team.
