Graduation is on June 7 at Colonial Life Arena. The senior class is ready for this day. We have four more months until June 7.

“I’m excited; also, ready to begin my life as a soldier,” Senior Rodney Chavis said.

People have different feelings about graduation.

“Ready,” Senior Thessalonian Reid said.

Everybody in high school looks forward to graduation day. I was looking forward to graduation myself, but I had a higher goal in mind. I wanted to be in the top 20% of my graduating class. At the beginning, I didn’t know how I was going to get there, but I knew that no goal was ever too much for me to accomplish. Failure is not an option.

“Graduation day can’t come any faster,” Senior Za’tanje Osby said

Osby plans on going to college and majoring in multi-categorical special education, which is where a teacher has different types of special education students.

Some people think high school is important.

“It jumps starts your life and your career,” Osby said.

Mrs. Faith Wheeler thinks going to college is the best way to go. People who take a break don’t usually attend.

Some underclassmen had their opinion on graduating as well. The underclassmen have something to look forward to in a couple of years.

“Focus on getting my credits do all my work,” Sophomore Tamia Johnson said.
