It was time to get hype and show some school spirit. Keenan’s Coming Home finally arrived the first week of February, and it was so much fun with all the Spirit Week activities. Keenan had an activity every day of the week; the theme was Candy Crush.

The juniors got ready for Coming Home and went out to get their things to campaign for Coming Home Prince and Princess.

“I would give away incentives to voter[s],” Junior Quentin Savage, Coming Home Prince contestant, said.

Contestants campaigned Monday through Friday.

The juniors who ran were Kenyatta Jeffcoat, Quentin Savage, Tatyanna Peters, Ronald Corley and Gloria White.

For Spirit Week there would be candy for the theme.

Monday’s theme was Twix It Up, Tuesday’s was Baby Ruth, Wednesday’s was Willy Wonka, Thursday’s was Nerds Day and Friday’s was Double Bubble.

“I [ran] for Coming Home because it would be a great and fun experience,” Jeffcoat, Coming Home Princess contestant, said.

The basketball team girls and boys both won their games against Eau Claire High School.

The winner of Coming Home Princess and Prince was Jeffcoat and Savage.

“The winner of Princess and Prince of Coming Home looked nice,” Sophomore Zyesha Tucker said.
