Raider interims come out

Keenan’s third interim has come out. Teachers and students feel differently about interims the past nine weeks.

Students wonder why teachers calculate grades eight times a year instead of four.

“PowerSchool calculates it every day; maybe we don’t need interims,” Mrs. Kristin Bullington, physical science teacher, said.

Raiders prepare to make home run

Officer Clarence Black, softball coach, is preparing for a good season with the help of Ms. Keisha Stewart, softball coach.

As the 2015 softball season approaches, Black has decided to start preparing immediately. The team has had numerous practices over the summer and will have continuous practices throughout the year before and after the season.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month helps millions

Breast Cancer Awareness Month affects everyone in different ways, directly and indirectly. Various organizations do different things to help the millions affected with cancer. At Keenan, students and faculty put together a week to raise more awareness.

Ms. Deidra Pompey, Student Council Sponsor, is responsible for organizing the week.

“Student council members met and discussed the activities that would take place during the
