The Keenan Raider softball team faced the Columbia High Capitals on April 4, 2014, for a regional game on the Keenan softball field. The Raiders were defeated by the Capitals with a final score of 19-0.

“Considering that we just started, the performance was better than expected,” Sophomore Nahla Muldrow said.

The Raiders struggled at the beginning but managed to keep up the team spirit.

“If there isn’t 100% effort and dedication then there shouldn’t be any at all,” Sophomore Day-Sha Stewart said.

The fans stayed supportive and the team worked together until the end.

“The ladies did their best, and just because they didn’t win doesn’t mean they are losers,” Ms. Lenora Benjamin, parent and fan, said.
