Mr. Kenneth Smith, a United States veteran, last worked with JROTC at Theodore High School in Alabama. He is married and has four children, two of whom are in college.

At Keenan, Smith is an Instructional Assistant to the Special Education Department. He thinks very highly of Keenan and its students.

“I love Keenan. [It’s] one of the best high schools I’ve ever [worked] at,” Smith said.

Smith started as a substitute teacher last school year, and the students have grown fond of him during his time here.

“He is a kind, caring, helpful man who acts like a father figure towards me,” Freshman Shakala Daniel said.

Smith adores the students and staff at Keenan.

“Since I’ve been at Keenan [the students] have shown a lot of love. They seem honored and proud to be Raiders. I am proud to work with the staff at Keenan. They work well together,” Smith said.

Smith gets the same love and encouragement from the staff at Keenan.

“Mr. Smith Is a great man. He enjoys working with the kids and is very good at it,” Coach James Johnson, Campus Monitor, said.
