This year for Keenan’s girls basketball team has really been a rollercoaster. The Raiders are currently undefeated in region play and look to continue this winning streak.

“This year’s team is very strong-willed and has more depth than past teams,” Sophomore Demyra Rudder said.

Rudder also feels that in order for them to continue winning, everyone on the squad must be fully committed.

“Raider means something when you put on that blue and gold jersey,” Senior Keira Robinson said.

Robinson is this year’s leading scorer and is also a captain of the team. She has a lot of confidence in the squad and expects big things from them.

“She’s highly known for her outstanding defensive effort on the team,” Junior Jada Reeves said, referring to Robinson.

Reeves thinks without a doubt the Raiders should make some noise in this year’s state playoffs.

The Lady Raiders have worked really hard and put in the time and effort to do amazing things. The team is rolling in wins left and right and has the home fans behind them.
