Keenan’s JROTC program had their last parade for the school year on Friday May 4. The parade occurred at the Midlands Center around the corner from Keenan. There were all kinds of differently decorated cars out there. The music was loud and exciting; it motivated the cadets even more.
“The cadets were absolutely superb; they were dress right dress and Rock Steady during the entire parade,” Major Walter Savage said.
Their alignment was very nice. The cadets worked hard to stay in place, even though it was hot; in their uniforms they still manage to look nice.
“Nothing really could have been different. Everyone was on point doing their job,” Senior Josheria Wilson said.
This was a great way to end this year’s activities. The instructors of the JROTC program were extremely proud of the cadets who marched. The instructors hope next year’s program is as good as this year’s was.
“The cadets did an awesome job, their uniforms were right, their attitudes were on point [and] they were nothing less than Rock Steady Raiders,” Junior Christopher Cochran said.
