The Marching Raider Rubber Band dominated at the band competition in Dillon, South Carolina, on May 7.

“The band performed a wide variety of Top 20 charts, including Stand the Rain by New Edition,” Mr. Brandon Hopkins, Band Director, said.

Students were really pleased with the outcome of the competition.

“Everybody played to the best of their abilities,” Junior Troy Rivers said.

While this competition wasn’t actually judged, the Keenan Raiders did get the biggest and loudest applause from the audience.

“It was fun and hot.  We blew Dillon out of the world,” Sophomore Countess Robinson said.
