The College Basketball season has finally come to an end. Teams from around the country fought hard night in and night out as the AP Top 25 changed almost every week as teams repeatedly win or lose, It came down to the most important games of the season the national championships.

In the men’s national championship Huskies of UCONN took home the hardware as they convincingly beat the Bulldogs of Butler University. The Huskies were led by Kemba Walker who scored a game high of 16 points.

Coach Jim Calhoun has become the oldest coach to ever win a NCAA National Championship at the age of 68.

In the women’s national championship it was a hard-fought battle between the Irish of Notre Dame and the Aggies of Texas A&M. The game was close throughout as there were many lead changes. The Irish were led by star Skylar Diggins but were overpowered by Danielle Adams and the Aggies.

Adams led the game in scoring as she hoisted 30 points and led her team to a tight victory, 76-70.
