During the 2010 holiday season, students in Business Education Teacher Mrs. Charnice Ray’s Sports and Marketing Classes initiated a Harvest Hope Food Drive.

“This service project was to help our neighbors in need.  This also served as a competition between Keenan and Eau Claire Sports and Marketing classes,” Ray said.

The Keenan Raiders proved to be victorious against the Eau Claire Shamrocks.

“We look forward to participating in more community service projects.   A special thanks to everyone who contributed and to Mr. Milligan’s English classes,” Ray said.

Students played a vital role in the success of the food drive.  Apparently, they have very big hearts.

“[The food drive] made me care more to know that people now have something they didn’t have,” Junior Johnathan Gathers said.

Our community is always in need of donations.

“[The food drive] is a great way to help the community,” Junior Matrick Belton said.
