Pasta for Pennies is a program benefitting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This year the Student Council decided to create a competition among 1st Block A Day classes. This event began on February 7, 2011, and ended February 25, 2011. The money was counted and the winning class will receive a catered lunch (salad, spaghetti, and breadsticks) provided by the Olive Garden.

English Teacher Mrs. Charity Ntiasagwe’s class was the winner; her classed raised $130.30.  The Student Council would also like to extend a very special thanks to Mr. Milligan and his non- 1A classes. Outside of the competition, they raised $98.48 in exchange for extra credit points.

This year Keenan raised $829.54. Keenan passed its goal of $500 and more than doubled the amount collect last year.
